Los Lupeños Academy is the educational arm of Los Lupeños de San José, offering folklórico dance classes for youth and adults in an environment rooted in culture, discipline, and community. The Academy provides training in traditional Mexican regional styles, supporting students as they build strong technique, confidence, connection, and cultural pride.
For Los Lupeños Academy, I developed graphics, copy, and newsletters that promoted class offerings and supported enrollment efforts. In addition to year-round programming, I led marketing for the Academy’s major annual performances, including Folkloreada and the Annual Fall Showcase (which features a unique title each year, such as Al Son del Corazón).
These campaigns focused on audience growth, storytelling, and elevating the artistry of the dancers while clearly communicating the Academy’s mission to preserve and pass on the traditions of Mexican folklórico.
