I am a cultural marketer with an academic background in Anthropology, Critical Race and Ethnic Studies, and Art and Cultural Management. My work is grounded in understanding people, identity, and culture, and translating those insights into storytelling that connects communities. Drawing from both scholarly training and lived experience, I approach marketing as a tool for cultural representation, preservation, and meaningful engagement.

Born and raised in San José, California, I am a descendant of immigrants from Michoacán, Mexico. Growing up in a multicultural city shaped my perspective on identity, community, and belonging. My roots inform how I move through the world and guide my commitment to honoring heritage while creating space for diverse voices and narratives.

My interests center on food, music, and travel as ways to experience and understand culture. I enjoy learning through local cuisine and discovering how music reflects history, identity, and place. I studied abroad in Rome for three months, participated in an archaeological excavation in Ireland for one month, and completed my master’s degree in Barcelona over the course of a year. Each experience deepened my appreciation for cultural traditions, everyday rituals, and the ways communities express themselves across regions and generations.
